This print depicts the 5-points area of Jacksonville located in Riverside. The original painting was auctioned at the Riverside Avondale Preservation Society's Preview Party for their annual RAP Home Tour in 2021. I was asked to paint the area before the removal of the historic beacon light.
it's interesting to see many businesses have changed. The Derby has left and been replaced by a Mexican restaurant and Wall Street is gone. Luckily, our beloved Sun-Ray Cinema is still in existence and thriving with the addition of the Pizza Cave.
