During the Pandemic I enjoyed looking at old photos and thinking of the times that my family visited Florida before we moved here. We lived in Kentucky, and my grandparents lived in Florida. We were so excited to cross the border into the Sunshine State. I joined a variety of Facebook groups that shared their experiences from childhood to adulthood. There is so much history, industry, and beauty in this state. The paintings are playful because I needed everyone to be cheered during this time.
